ABOUT US

The Old Post Office is a wonderful combination of a cafe, with antiques and interesting objects to browse or buy and a newsagent. This little gem is ideally situated in the centre of the old and beautiful Cotswold village of Guiting Power as a friendly meeting place for the local community and a welcome stop for all people, whether on a country drive around the Cotswolds, walking or cycling, holidaying in the area or visitors just passing through.

Marie serves a wide selection of teas and specialised coffees and offers a variety of fresh locally sourced foods, both hot and cold, home made soups, cakes, scones and tea cakes. Whether it's breakfast inside or for those on the go, a lazy morning coffee, a light lunch or an afternoon tea and chat, Marie is always there to extend you a warm welcome.

The Old Post Office is a great dog friendly place to meet and catch up with friends, make new friends, chat with the locals or just chill out with a coffee and book or free wi-fi. You can can buy newspapers, magazines, a wide range of cards, small quality gifts and antique bits and bobs. Seating outside facing the village green catches the sun most of the day (when it shines!) and is a real sun trap. There's even a visiting Post Office every Tuesday and Thursday offering the usual postal services.

Welcome to 'Guiting Time' where the stress and everyday fast pace of life becomes, for a short while at least, a distant memory.
